Mold Testing

Inspection Vs Testing

Inspections are different in that our experienced techs can easily see the mold visually. Testing involves sending strips and air samples to a 3rd party lab that tells us specifically the type of mold it is, if there is any at all.

Air Test

Where Is It?

Mold is a microscopic organisms that is found virtually everywhere, indoors and outdoors. Mold can be found on plants, foods, dry leaves, and other organic material. Also susceptible to mold growth are cellulose materials, such as, cardboard, paper, ceiling tiles, drywall and certain types of paint.

Strip Test

We take a few samples of the surface that you may contain microbial growth as well as moisture levels. We send those samples to lab to inspect if it is one a 160+ mold strands, but more importantly if its one of the 11 kinds that affect human health.

Air Test

Certain rooms contain more mold spores than outside the home. While mold is everywhere it becomes a hazard in increasingly damp areas. Removing the mold from the surface may not always destroy all of the spores that are in the air. Testing your air quality is essential and important especially if you live in a very humid area.
